Once you arrive we can provide a free consultation along with pricing. Our Bridal Alteration Consultation ensures your wedding dress fits perfectly and enhances your natural beauty. Our expert team will assess your gown and recommend personalized adjustments to achieve your ideal look. We’re dedicated to making your dress feel as though it was made just for you, ensuring you look and feel your best on your special day.
Cancellation Policy
The Elegant Seam – Booking Policy Effective Date: August 2025 At The Elegant Seam, we are committed to providing every client with a personalized and professional experience. To ensure the highest level of service and respect for everyone’s time, we ask all clients to review our booking policy before scheduling. 1. Appointments All services are by appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled online, by phone, or in person at our Kenilworth studio. Please arrive on time to allow us to serve you and other clients efficiently. 2. Consultation Fees Specific consultations may include a non-refundable consultation fee, which will be applied toward your alteration or tailoring service if you move forward. Pricing for consultations will be disclosed at the time of booking. 3. Cancellations & Rescheduling We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice may forfeit the consultation fee. No-shows may be subject to an additional fee and limited ability to book future services. 4. Garment Requirements Clients are responsible for bringing their garment(s), proper undergarments, and shoes intended for use with the outfit to each fitting. We cannot guarantee accuracy of alterations without the correct items present at fittings. 5. Turnaround & Rush Orders Standard turnaround times will be provided at your consultation and depend on the complexity of work. Rush orders (when available) may require an additional expedited service fee. 6. Payments A deposit may be required before work begins. Full payment is due upon final fitting or pickup. Liability While we take the utmost care with every garment, The Elegant Seam is not responsible for issues related to fabric weaknesses, pre-existing damage, or wear after pickup. 8. Agreement By booking an appointment with The Elegant Seam, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
